The “Candle of Memory” event, dedicated to the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow and the 84th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, began on the night of Sunday, June 22, at the Victory Museum in Moscow, RIA Novosti reports. Exactly at midnight, a minute of silence was observed in the square in front of the Victory Museum in memory of the fallen.
